DMVX has no form baked in. Each form is its own pack with a version and effective date. Jobs already filled keep the version they used; new jobs use the newest. A pack that fails its checks does not activate, so the old one stays.

Scan first, type second. Click the blue Sure Scan box, pull the trigger, and DMVX reads the barcode on a driver license, title or insurance card. If a barcode is hard to read, DMVX retries with zoom, and you can fall back to a photo upload.

Sure Scan is hardened for handheld keyboard-wedge scanners and reads license, NY title and NY insurance card barcodes, with zoom, retry and rotation reading and an optional OCR fallback. Guided form choices and "Still needed" checks flag what's missing, and signed form packs plus offline yearly license verification keep it trustworthy. It reads what a human would squint at.
